The ENJOY AI 2025 European Open took place on July 26 in Athens, Greece, bringing together young robotics enthusiasts from across Europe, Asia, and Africa for a day of international collaboration, competition, and creativity.
Held at Serafio in Athens, the event welcomed over 60 participants from Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Turkey, and Morocco, divided into early childhood and elementary school divisions, and competing across three dynamic challenge tracks:
Cyber City – Set in a futuristic metropolis, this competition challenges participants with space-themed missions that demand quick thinking, strategic decision-making, and strong technical skills as they navigate through high-tech urban scenarios.
Geometric Forest – A team-based adventure through a mysterious forest, where participants must work together to solve puzzles and complete tasks. Along the way, they unlock surprises using problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
Skyline Adventures – A drone-based challenge where students use Eagle drones to complete aerial tasks. The competition combines visual recognition, programming control, and real-time coordination in a dynamic, vertical robotics environment.
Top-performing teams from the European Open have earned the opportunity to represent their regions at the ENJOY AI Global Final in China, where they will compete alongside young innovators from around the world.
Beyond the competition, the event offered a space for meaningful cultural exchange. During post-match sessions, participants from different countries shared their ideas on robot design and programming, learning from one another’s approaches and perspectives. These conversations reflected how technology can bridge cultures and spark growth through shared creativity and collaboration.
