On August 9th, the Dewan Semarak hall at University Malaya pulsed with the buzz of autonomous robots, flying drones, and over 160 young innovators from across Asia. The ENJOY AI 2025 Asia Open had arrived — and it delivered on every front. Participants from Malaysia, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Japan and other regions converged for a full day of robotics and AI challenges, each team bringing creativity, precision, and problem-solving to the competition floor.
Three signature tracks brought the energy to life:
Cyber City welcomed 78 teams into a futuristic cityscape of code and automation, where robots tackled urban engineering challenges.
In Skyline Adventures, 30 teams took to the skies, navigating drones through imaginative, tech-powered structures that tested both control and creativity.
Geometric Forest saw 13 teams explore spatial logic and collaborative puzzles deep within a robotics-inspired forest setting.
In addition to the competitions, the Asia Open featured a range of meaningful activities that brought the ENJOY AI experience to life beyond the arena. A vibrant AI & Education Forum invited educators, industry experts, and youth advocates to exchange insights on how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of learning, while a livestream of the competition allowed global audiences to follow the excitement in real time — from classrooms to living rooms.
As the largest sponsor of the event, we at WhalesBot are proud to support this inspiring platform that fuses robotics, AI, and education, and continues to empower the next generation of creators, thinkers, and future leaders.
With the Asia Open concluded, the ENJOY AI 2025 global journey continues — with upcoming stops including the Africa Open and other exciting regional events still to come. Top-performing teams from across the circuit will gather in the Global Final to showcase their skills in a world-class youth carnival. Learn more and get involved at www.enjoyaiglobal.org
